New Players: If you’re interested in joining FET, you will need to attend a trial where our team will assess your abilities. Trials will take place during our current training sessions. Following the trial, you will receive an email shortly after with the outcome of your placement for 2025.
Existing Players: If you were enrolled in our most recent term, no assessment booking is required. You will hear from us soon regarding your placement and proposed offer for 2025.

COMMITMENT CRITERIA
IF SELECTED AS AN ACADEMY PLAYER:
Will be required to train at a minimum of twice per week at any of the specified available sessions and play matches every 3 weeks for your designated age group per the 2024 timetable.
IF SELECTED AS AN ACADEMY TRAIN-ON:
Will be required to train at a minimum of once per week at any of the specified available sessions as per the 2024 timetable.
IF SELECTED FOR OUR ACADEMY DEVELOPMENT:
Will be required to train at a minimum of once per week at any of the specified available sessions as per the 2024 timetable.
If you are chosen as an Academy player and are unable to commit to the specified number of sessions, our team, under appropriate circumstances, may be able to assist by offering alternative avenues to ensure you can still retain your position.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT ONCE I HAVE REGISTERED MY INTEREST?
Our Academy’s initial intake selections typically occur at the end of the calendar year, with specific dates announced via email and our social platforms closer to the time.
For players unable to attend the initial intake selection process, we welcome assessments throughout the program's timeframe. However, earlier assessments are strongly recommended to increase the likelihood of securing your preferred offer and schedule.
Successful candidates will be notified via email with an offer for one of the following: Academy Player, Academy Train-On, or Academy Development.
Please note that FET reserves the right to decline entry. If you are unsuccessful in receiving an offer, you will also be informed and provided with alternative pathways to support your development.
